Meet Alissa

Founder, Psychotherapist

Alissa is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington. An Illinois native, she holds a Bachelors degree in Studio Art and worked professionally as a fine artist before obtaining her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.

Her strengths and passion lie in working with adults who are ready for transformative change. She has developed expertise in helping those who grew up with emotionally immature parents—whether critical, unavailable, or unpredictable—who now struggle to experience healthy self-esteem, trust themselves, validate their needs and feelings, and set healthy boundaries.

More broadly, she is drawn to working with anyone seeking to explore the root causes of pain and struggle in their present lives. It is truly a privilege to help others regain vitality and self-trust; this journey of healing is one of the most rewarding and powerful experiences she can imagine.
