Meet Alissa
Founder, Psychotherapist
Alissa is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington. An Illinois native, she holds a Bachelors degree in Studio Art and worked professionally as visual artist before obtaining her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.
Her strengths and passion lie in working with adults who are ready for transformative change. She has developed expertise in helping those who grew up with emotionally immature parents—whether critical, unavailable, or unpredictable—who now struggle to experience healthy self-esteem, validate their own needs and feelings, trust themselves, and set healthy boundaries. Utilizing a trauma informed approach, she supports her clients in finding healing from those early experiences, develop healthier relationships, and build a more confident, fulfilling sense of self.
Alissa finds it to be truly a privilege to help others regain vitality and self-trust; this journey of healing is one of the most rewarding and powerful experiences she can imagine.
